I've always loved the idea of a track that starts as a single note, builds all the way up, and then crumbles back down to nothing. That was the idea here. I tried to make everything wet and airy to match the context in game. This is one of the few places where I use some more complex instruments, like synthetic flutes and tube percussion.
my favorite part of minecraft has always been the music. thank you c418 for such a wonderful soundtrack (for minecraft and also for my life!)

This is music for walking into the depths of the woods and forgetting about the world beyond the trees.
Joyful, mysterious, and wistful, these tracks are a perfect soundtrack for a magical adventure. Other suitable times to play this album include: when you need background music for your D&D session; while you're staring out the window on a foggy day; during a lengthy study/work session and need focus music.
