It's like Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar but not. Oulu is the city in Finland where Nokia was founded. Seventh Formation is like New Formation but a bit long-winded (pitch bend was really cool though). 55/100
Favorite track: Death Satellite Evasion (bonus).

I have to admit, I didn't like this album much the first time I listened to it, but the characteristic style of this album is impossible to ignore.
The complex time signatures and polyrhythms are now quite recognizable as signature Disasterpeace. Favorite track: Fashionable Alchemy (dpRMX).

Deorbit is a collection of songs written between 2006 and 2009. "Sober Colony", "The Sun and the Moon", and "The Solar Prime Elite" were all originally slated for Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar, but for the sake of keeping the length of the album manageable, and difficulties with updating their sound, I chose to keep them off. "The Great Oulu Fire of 2082" and "Malbone Street Wreck" were both written as part of a "30 songs in 30 days" contest in 2009, and Polis was also originally planned for Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar, but those plans also fell through.
